Women Founders Rock | Lynette Lovelace, Lifetherapy #WOMENROCK

Happy International Women's Day! To celebrate we are kicking off our Women Founders Rock series with Lifetherapy's very own founder Lynette Lovelace. Come back throughout the month of March as we feature another fabulous female founder.

As an accomplished restaurateur, luxury boutique owner, gifted retail strategist and product developer, she is no stranger to choosing a positive outlook throughout her life. Having survived numerous personal health challenges and guiding her son and daughter through their own health crisis, Lynette has learned to take life as it comes, to pay it forward and above all, to live in the moment with optimism and gratitude.

Get to know how Lynette has been impacted by the support and encouragement of other strong women founders.

Lynette Lovelace | Founder & CEO, Lifetherapy

Tell us something impactful about being a female founder?
For me the impact is inner personal, meaning I often look back and think "wow, I'm proud of "me" - look how far I have come". It's the "believing in myself " of how an idea can become a reality and the incredible tenacity it has taken to get to where I am today.

Tell us why you are devoted to helping women through your business?
I wouldn't be where I am at today if it wasn't for the strong women that have encouraged me to keep going. I have met so many incredible colleagues on this journey and every one has left a mark on my life. I can honestly say that I have gained a friendship in all of these women. I can only hope that the encouragement and support that has been given to me that I can in turn return it to others.

Talk to use about working with women and why supporting women is so important?
Too often as women we are distracted by the expected roles we have as wifes, mothers and partners to provide a lifestyle for our families. I am here to support women on their journeys in the belief that we really can have both career and family. Building a foundation of support has been key to my success and I truly hope that I can give that encouragement and support back to others.

How do you/does your organization support working women?
This is a current goal of Lifetherapy's to support and employ other women looking to learn more about "going for your dreams" and what that looks like. Providing an environment for others to learn and experience all the facets of what owning your own business looks like. Good, Bad, and Ugly.
